There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. General construction induction training may be required for construction work, and builder licensing requirements vary across States and Territories.
You’ll need a computer with Windows 7+ or macOS 10.6+, 2GB RAM, 2GB free disk space, a 2.0 GHz processor, 1024×768 resolution monitor, ADSL1 internet (1.5Mbps), a valid email, speakers/microphone, Adobe Reader, and software like Microsoft Office and an up-to-date browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).

Assessment
Show off your skills through practical, portfolio-based assessments.
Assessments are designed to match unit goals, with at least a week’s notice. You can submit portfolios or join face-to-face assessments. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or credit transfers can speed things up. Reach out to our Education Services Manager at luceille.outhred@gemcollege.edu.au.
