  • first training organisation in Australia to design, deliver and assess nationally recognised Information Technology training based on competency standards
  • first training organisation to deliver nationally recognised Information Technology training that  was both software specific and indicative of levels of specific competence
  • first training organisation in Australia to equip Information Technology  trainers with qualifications in Assessment and Workplace Training – qualifying over 500 Information Technology trainers Australia wide between 1994 – 2006
  • first training organisation in South Australia to deliver Information Technology training using  the Executrain Virtual Campus and Element K e-learning
  • first training organisation in South Australia to deliver Information Technology training with back up on-line learning for non-English speaking background learners in over a dozen different languages
  • first training organisation in South Australia to deliver Information Technology, with specialty in Multimedia (and back up on-line learning) for Senior Secondary Schools and Colleges in South Australia
2. “Firsts” in nationally recognised, competency based OHSW training since 1992
  • first training organisation in Australia to design, develop and deliver training based on the National Generic OHS Competency Standards
  • first nationally accredited OHSW qualifications based on the OHS Generic National Competency Standards
  • first nationally accredited training and management qualifications to address all of the OHS Generic National Competency Standards
  • first training organisation to design, develop and deliver industry and education accredited Confined Space Entry Procedures training
  • first training organisation to design, develop and deliver competency based, nationally recognised Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances training with credit status to full qualifications
3. “Firsts” in nationally recognised, competency based Entrepreneurship training since 1992
  • first registered private training organisation to be granted a licence to deliver Entrepreneurship programs out of a prestigious American University
  • first private registered training organisation to deliver internationally accredited workplace training, with articulation to an overseas University
  • first registered training organisation to provide nationally recognised training in Invention, Innovation, Intellectual Property development and protection towards a more Competitive Manufacturing sector
  • first registered training organisation to offer entrepreneurship training with international linkages and articulations to secondary schools in Australia
4. “Firsts” in nationally recognised, competency based Management training since 1992
  • first registered training organisation to design and deliver full  Management qualifications through training, set against nationally recognised competency standards
  • first registered training organisation to deliver training towards  Competitive Manufacturing – Workright took the initiative in 1994, and designed the Certificate in Industrial Mentoring and higher qualifications focusing on:-

5. “Firsts” in nationally recognised, competency based Mentoring and Mentor Systems Management training since 1992
  • first registered training organisation to mentor inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs in Research and Development, Production and Manufacturing – assisting in the establishment of a high tech opto-electronics production facility in Adelaide
  • our learners were not only deemed “competent” during training, but went on to gain national, international and global awards, including:-

6. First RTO to establish a Technology Incubation Centre

and provide a Competitive Manufacturing Learning Resource Centre where inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs and business development managers could be mentored by practitioners
