GEM College celebrates 417 years in Vocational Education and Training!
No, that is not a typo!
In 1605 Ian Outhwaite direct ancestor of two of GEM College’s founders gained his academic parchment. Trained as a saddler, Anthony who was born in Ripon, Yorkshire, settled in Croft. His surviving children and nephews relocated ot the other side of Yorkshire during the civil war.
Anthony Outhwaite is a direct ancestor of two of our founders, Mrs Merrill Farnell, and Mr John Outhred.
In more recent history... 2022 is our 30th anniversary! GEM College began in South Australia and the Board and Executive remain committed to building our State.
GEM College provides qualifications in Business and Entrepreneurship face to face through our bricks and mortar campuses and through our Virtual Campus online.
