Protect yourself, your workers and your clients

COVID-19 doesn’t relax and nor should we. New infection control standards now apply to all workplaces.

The particularly vulnerable in Aged Care, Disability and Community Houses, and Indigenous Communities need to be protected.

Hospitality, Retail, Transport and Logistics sectors are also critical industries – and potential spreaders.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, GEM College’s Directors have established appointed professional personnel to provide support to those who care for the vulnerable, and to assist entrepreneurs in their quest for their businesses to survive – to stay open, or to re-open following lock down.

You can reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission in your community, and enhance client and customer confidence by displaying certified evidence that your business has provided its workers with accredited training.

COVID-19 Health Direct Guidelines

On successful completion of all training and assessment requirements, learners will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in HLTINFCOV001 – Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures, and your business will be able to encourage people that it is safe to engage with your business, as you will be able to display a Certificate of Confidence from a Registered Training Organisation, indicating that your staff have undertaken this specialist training.
